I recommend using the showcases to practice close air support, but I will provide a video example below without commentary showcasing the default A-164/A-10 loadout in action on a few targets.
Some general tips:
- Watch your speed when diving to strike ground targets as going too fast can cause you to compress (i.e. struggle to turn) and/or crash into the ground.
- Decide how much ammo and which you wanna use for every target. Ideally you'd use the best ammo for the job, but if you don't have enough to spare, it might be worth saving the better ammo for higher priority targets.
- ID your targets, it is very easy to assume allies/civilians are enemies when using thermal vision.
- Be careful when dealing with anti-air threats. While a MANPAD is not that worrying, a SAM site or SPAA can be devastating if you underestimate them. Strike them from outside of their range or attempt to bleed them of their missiles if that's not possible if you MUST operate near them.
